Network and mitigation requirements
A server firewall cannot help once attack traffic has overwhelmed the connection or the server itself. SmartMitigate filters traffic upstream, before it reaches the server interface.
Packets discarded by the mitigation system do not have to be processed by your server or its local firewall.
