AtlasEdge STR001 in Stuttgart is now the primary site for new colocation deployments, while selected Equinix facilities remain available for Frankfurt interconnection and metro-redundant designs.

STR001 provides a large, carrier-neutral and highly resilient operating environment in the Stuttgart region. It is the preferred location for new server, rack and higher-power customer deployments.
Standard deployments include SMARTNET connectivity and can be expanded with additional power, bandwidth, cross-connects and DDoS protection.
STR001 is the default location for new colocation. Frankfurt sites remain useful for interconnection-heavy and metro-redundant deployments, while SV4 provides US West Coast presence.

STR001 combines large-scale power availability, carrier neutrality, strong physical security and fast access to remote hands. It gives new deployments more room to scale than a traditional interconnection-focused metro site.
Frankfurt remains important for direct carrier access, internet exchanges, cross-connects and low-latency interconnection. It complements STR001 rather than replacing the network footprint.
Facilities use layered physical access control, CCTV monitoring, perimeter protection and on-site staff. Access procedures depend on the selected service and location.
Power, uplinks, IP addressing and private interconnection can be expanded as the deployment grows. Larger STR001 configurations are designed individually.
